Paint cans need to be completely dry and hardened with the lids off, next to the can. Typically putting sand in the paint can for a week will help dry the paint out completely. We cannot take any wet paint. An excessive amount of paint cans would be considered a bulk item pick up.
Christmas trees are often collected by a customer's township. Please check with your township to determine if you live in an area with township provided Christmas tree collection. If your township does not provide Christmas tree collection, please cut your tree in half and leave alongside of your trash on your regularly scheduled service day.
Needles can be placed inside a thick plastic container with a lid to be disposed us. (A laundry detergent bottle, for example.)
All branches and trimmings have to be cut into 3 foot lengths, and tied up. Larger yard waste, or a large amount, is considered bulk.
If your trash or recycling can is an Opdenaker can, we can swap it out for another one at no charge. Please give us a call to schedule this. 610-459-3515

Recycle Right!
NO RECYCLING IN PLASTIC BAGS. Recycling placed in plastic bags will not be collected.
Recycling sorting facilities are aggressively enforcing policies to ensure a clean recycling stream. This in response to a major shift in the global recycling comoddity market has resulted in sorting facilities requiring "cleaner" recycling streams ultimately levying stiff fines & rejecting loads that do not meet the more stringent specificiations.
Opdenaker is working with the facilities to ensure our customer recycling material is meeting the new specifications and we are asking customers to be more mindful of the approved recyclables list provided below.
