At Opdenaker, our people are at the heart of everything we do. On Wednesday, July 1, we recently took time to celebrate our employees with a special Employee Appreciation Lunch, bringing team members and their families together for an afternoon of good food, fun, and fellowship.
The event was a great opportunity to step away from the day-to-day and recognize the hard work and dedication of the Opdenaker team. Employees enjoyed lunch, refreshments, and plenty of activities, including a friendly game of cornhole. Families were also part of the celebration, with the kids enjoying popsicles and time together while the adults caught up with coworkers and friends.
A special moment during the gathering was recognizing Jim and celebrating his 40 years of service. The appreciation cake featuring an Opdenaker truck and a heartfelt “Thank you Jim” message was a fitting tribute to four decades of commitment and contributions.
From sharing a meal to enjoying some friendly competition, the afternoon reflected what makes the Opdenaker team special: hard work, camaraderie, family, and a commitment to supporting one another.
